Coffee Packaging UK
Coffee packaging in the UK needs to do more than look good. The pouch should suit the weight of coffee, the filling process, the freshness requirements and the way the bag will be displayed and used.
OTTO&ONE supplies coffee pouches from UK stock with low minimum orders from one box, free samples and optional custom printing. Selected pouch formats are also available with one-way degassing valves for freshly roasted coffee.
Coffee pouches for UK roasters
We supply several pouch formats used by independent coffee roasters and growing coffee brands:
- Flat bottom coffee pouches for a structured, premium shelf presentation.
- Stand-up coffee pouches for a flexible, lightweight format with resealable zip options.
- Gusseted coffee bags for efficient filling and larger capacities.
Do coffee bags need a degassing valve?
Freshly roasted coffee releases carbon dioxide after roasting. A one-way degassing valve allows gas to escape through the valve while helping limit outside air entering through that route. For many roasters packing fresh coffee, this is an important feature to consider.
The best choice depends on how soon after roasting you pack, how long the coffee will remain in the pouch and your overall packing process.
Flat bottom vs stand-up coffee pouches
Flat-bottom pouches provide a wide base and a more structured shape, which can be useful when shelf presentation and branding space are priorities. Stand-up pouches use a bottom gusset and are a versatile choice for brands that want a lighter, flexible format.

Low MOQ coffee packaging
Smaller roasters do not always need very large packaging runs. OTTO&ONE stock pouches can be ordered from one box, allowing you to test a format or launch a product without committing to a full custom-manufacturing run.
You can also request free samples before ordering so you can check the pouch with your own coffee and packing equipment.
Custom printed coffee bags
When you are ready to move beyond stickers or labels, custom printing is available on suitable stock pouches. Printing can start from 5p per page, per colour, per pouch, depending on the pouch and artwork requirements.

Choosing the right coffee pouch
Before ordering, consider the coffee weight, pouch dimensions, zip closure, valve requirement, barrier structure and finish. Matte, kraft, metallized and aluminium-barrier styles can all create a different look and feel.
Our existing Coffee Pouches UK guide also covers the main formats in more detail.
